2. Description of Service

Convext provides a platform for managing engineering standards and coding rules that can be integrated with AI coding assistants via the Model Context Protocol (MCP). The service includes:

• Rule and standard management
• Marketplace for sharing rulesets
• API and MCP integration
• Project and organization management

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the service, you must register for an account using GitHub OAuth. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
• Upload malicious code or content
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others

5. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of any content you create using the service, including rules, standards, and rulesets. By publishing content to the Marketplace, you grant Convext a non-exclusive license to display and distribute that content.

6. Intellectual Property

The Convext service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Convext and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7. Payment Terms

For paid plans:

• Fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
• All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
• We may change our fees with 30 days notice
• You are responsible for all applicable taxes

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for any reason, including violation of these terms. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the service ceases immediately
• You may request export of your data within 30 days
• We may delete your data after the retention period

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Convext shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Convext from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes. Your continued use of the service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
